“I am on an urban quest for knowledge and experience”

Beginning his musical journey in primary school, Emre has always had an interest and passion in music. From old school jazz to the new wave of hip hop, neo soul and R&B, he has been slowly working away at improving his technique and skills. 

Being in school bands and the generation uncovered project has allowed him to further increase his confidence in performing and also learn much more surrounded by like minded individuals and creatives.

“Being a part of the Generation Uncovered Band has opened my eyes up to working collaboratively with my band mates and other artists. I’ve met more people and played with more people than I would ever have otherwise. I’ve gained so much more confidence in myself as a pianist, and a deeper understanding of the needs of the artists we work with. I’ve been able to advance further in my ability to play forms of R&B and jazz and would most definitely like to continue to learn and better myself in these genres.
